We warmly invite you to join us for November Harmonies at Ballintubber Abbey — a special evening of music and friendship hosted by the Ballintubber Abbey Choir. This much-anticipated annual event brings together choirs in celebration of community, harmony, and the enduring spirit of the Abbey.

This year’s concert will feature performances by the Ballintubber Abbey Choir and our cherished friends, the Mayo Male Voice Choir, who return each year to fill the Abbey with their rich harmonies and heartfelt music.

We are especially honoured to welcome, for the very first time, the Ballinteer Male Voice Choir — travelling all the way from Dublin to perform in the Abbey’s historic and spiritual setting. Together, these talented choirs will present an evening of inspiring choral music that promises to lift the soul and celebrate the joy of singing.

While admission is free, all donations on the night will go directly towards the Ballintubber Abbey Preservation and Restoration Fund. With the new Cultural and Heritage Visitor Centre due to begin construction in Spring 2026 (supported by over €6 million in funding), continued support is essential to ensure the Abbey’s legacy endures for generations to come.

About the Ballinteer Male Voice Choir

Founded in 1994, the Ballinteer Male Voice Choir is based in South Dublin and features four vocal sections — two tenor lines, baritone, and bass. Under the musical direction of Mr. Thomas Kehoe, they perform a wide-ranging repertoire for all musical tastes. The choir regularly performs at concerts and festivals across Ireland and abroad and has hosted international choral festivals featuring ensembles from France, Italy, and throughout Ireland.
