Seán na Sagart: 300th Anniversary Commemoration
Join us at Ballintubber Abbey for a special event marking the 300th anniversary of Seán na Sagart, the infamous priest hunter of the Penal Times.
Through a series of fascinating stories and presentations, the event will explore religious persecution and resistance in County Mayo during this turbulent period of Irish history.

Tickets: €5 per person
Following the event, attendees will have an opportunity to visit the site in Partry where Seán na Sagart died. The ground at the site is uneven, so strong, suitable footwear is essential. Please allow additional time for this optional part of the day.
